I am now the proud owner of Kizorek, Inc! I’m a CEO for the first time in my life!! I’m registered to do business in the state of Florida, and NewCo will be a d/b/a under Kizorek, Inc.
I need to reinforce that Two Parrot Productions is going nowhere. As I transition to running the new company, my Dad will take over the helm at Two Parrot. Two Parrot will continue on as a video production company, but will now work exclusively for non-profit organizations.
We’ve considered converting Two Parrot to a non-profit 501c3 to open up new sources of funding. However, my business advisers, Frank Verkamp and Ed Friedman, are concerned that learning and adopting all the practices of a 501c3 will be too much of a distraction given the launch of NewCo. They are much more business savvy than I am, so that’s on the back burner. :)
